A Personal Health Journey
Sonja Simpson is a past Executive Director of The American Holistic Nurses Association and Executive Director of the Central District Health Department in Grand Island, Nebraska. Sonja has had many years experience as a public health nurse and nursing school instructor, which became critically important to her personal health journey and recovery from colon cancer. Sonja shares her experience of “crisis” from its Chinese symbol which provides two words – “danger” and “opportunity”.
