Nurse Advocate
Janice Gagnon-Warr is a registered Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health nurse with 30 years of health care experience. For 11 years Janice served as a Clinical Nurse Leader at St. Luke’s hospital Psychiatric Department in New Bedford, MA, where she pioneered the use of complementary therapies and aromatherapy for the outpatient Oncology Center. She currently conducts a private holistic nursing practice which includes aromatherapy and polarity therapy. Janice was a member of the landmark committee which affected the passage of the Massachusetts Advisory Ruling on Holistic Nursing Practice and Complimentary Therapies. Janice is the recipient of a Nurse Excellence Award from Parkwood Hospital.
