Mindful Mothering
Dr. Patti Arcari is a Clinical Nurse Specialist, at the Mind-Body Institute's, Program for Infertility, as well as the developer of the "Calm Mother, Happy Child" program, offered at the Mind/Body Clinic. The Institute is under the direction of Herb Benson, M.D. Patti earned her MSN degree at Boston University and her PhD in nursing at Boston College. She was a University Fellow at Boston College and is an Associate in Medicine, Harvard Medical School. She is also a Research Associate at the Mind/Body Medical Institute and an Associate at Boston College School of Nursing. Dr.Arcari helped develop the Cardiac Risk Reduction Program at Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Health Promotion Program at Norwood Hospital. Her current areas of research are infertility, mindfulness meditation and parenting.
