Inner City Nursing
Elaine Carter is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in asthma care, research and education. She was the coordinator for an investigational drug study on Zolair, at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and works as a nurse educator and clinician at the Harvard School of Medicine affiliate, the Partner’s Asthma Center, in Boston. Elaine is the recipient of a “Partners in Excellence” award for her outstanding work with high risk asthma adolescent and pediatric patients. She is a member of the planning board for the “Boston Asthma Nurses Coalition”, developed through the Boston Public Health Commission.
