Nursing in Vietnam
Elaine Hanglin is a Clinical Nurse Specialist certified
in Cardiac Risk Reduction. She has worked in Intensive Care, Medical
and Surgical care, as well as Visiting Nurse home care. She is the current
Director of the Wellness and Integrative Healthcare Services at Portsmouth
Regional Hospital, in Portsmouth, N.H. Elaine served as a Lieutenant
in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam conflict from 1968
until 1969, where her tour of duty brought her into the heart of the
war, as she served as a support nurse in a casualty staging hospital
in Dah Nang.
